the end

So here I am writing this last entry on my second “things” tumblog. Have been using Tumblr engine since April 2007, almost nearly from the very start.

During these 25 months I have gone through a lot. So many changes for good and worse have taken in my life, have made me what I am right now, today. Majority of them have made it on to these two tumblogs. In process perhaps I have created a virtual diary of my life of last 25 months. Documenting my first year of graduation from University, starting of a profitable business from scratch, turbulent end to one of my nearly mission of life, moving thousands of miles away with some wrong hopes and finally getting back in to University for further studies.

There are certain things which I believe in even to a degree of “faith”. Above all of them I strongly believe in making sure that among all the living and non-living things in the world I am first of all answerable to my own self. That I am able to wake up one day and not feel guilty of what I have done just few days earlier or perhaps a life time back. These last 25 months I have been doing almost everything to make sure that is the case.

Thank you to all the wonderful people who posted all the wonderful things which I could feast my eyes with, swing my head to or drown in the mesmerizing written texts. Also thank you to all the people who followed me and appreciated me for my views or shares (though recently the new feature of tumblarity has started make things look like a contest of some sort).

I will no longer be using this account, but instead I will be moving to a new one, opened under my proper given name. I believe the duck which was in the egg has finally come to the point of hatching, wether is will be an ugly duckling or not, only time will tell. But I will like to follow some of you wonderful people again. I hope you won’t mind.

Thank you for bearing with me my very crucial phases of learning. And my sincerest apologies for wronging anyone knowingly or unknowingly.

I am without any iota of doubt very hateful towards lazy Sundays! They make one feel miserable.

Just made myself some pancakes. Explains how bored I am.

Though enjoyed the short film, the starting sequence concept is not unique or new, it was used in “Stranger than fiction” starring Will Ferrell.

1:57 am

Subjected myself to torture of Heavy Metal for good 30 minutes.

But yes did find some very talented Pakistani metal bands.

I have for the first time ever submitted one of my short stories to a competition! And I don’t know why I did that!

Life’s too Short

Taraaz - Tere Werga (trans from Punjabi. Like You)

Hamd is a traditional poetry done in praise of Allah. This song is from an underground Pakistani band Taraaz, containing a mixture of Punjabi and Urdu.

I guess I have come across a good talent, worth listening.
